In my work as an eating disorder dietitian, I always make sure to send out eating disorder treatment protocols to the rest of the therapists on the team.

Before I healed my relationship with food.

All foods were either a carb, a calorie,
High fat or low fat,
Good or Bad.

Food was all about if would make my body fat or thin.

Until I healed my relationship with food.
Food became about nourishing, healing, and a gift to my body.

Fermentation is exactly that.
Feeding our body fermented foods
Is nourishing it with yeasts and bacteria that are essential for our health.

1.Stuff a jar with the following:
Baby cucumbers
Dill
Garlic
Black pepper
Cilantro seeds
Mustard seeds

2 Pour in a salt water solution made of 1 liter water: 3 spoons salt

I have heard this line from so many women.
And sadly, I’ve heard it from many therapists too.

This was what my therapist told me, at age 17.
Here I am, 15 years later,
totally ED free.

So for anyone who is struggling,
I want you to know,
that it is absolutely possible to heal.

An eating disorder is not something that you should learn how to live with.

The real work is learning how to live- without it.

In my work as a dietitian
I have had the honor of supporting hundreds of women,
heal their relationships with food,
and say goodbye to their ED forever.

When a woman heals her relationship with food, her entire life changes.

When a women learns how to nourish herself, the potential is endless.

It is possible to live without food thoughts.
It is possible to eat without guilt and shame.
It is possible to love the body you're in.
It is possible to indulge in pleasure without losing control.

It is possible to heal
And you deserve it.

Nourishing Bone broth recipe- saute a chopped onion and 3 garlic cloves in olive oil
Add 2 chopped carrots and 2 chopped zucchini
Blend two tomatoes with a cup of parsley and a cup of celery
Pour the mixture into the pot
Add 1 tbs cumin, 1 tbsp tumeric, 1 tsp pepper, 2 tbsp paprika
Add 2 tbsp salt
Add two bones with marrow
Add 2 cups soaked beans
Boil for an hour
Leave in oven at 100 degrees for 6–12 hours
