ABOUT ME

Part scientist, part therapist, and part farm girl

I was put on this earth to help women nourish their bodies.

But I’m not here to tell you what to do, I’m here to help you listen to what your body is asking for.

My approach blends the science of food, the psychology of eating, and the power of ancestral nutrition, to help my clients nourish themselves from the inside out.

My clients learn to reconnect to their bodies by understanding the psychology of their appetite and the biology of their metabolism, so they can become their own guide.

When a woman discovers how to listen to her body, she unlocks an internal world of wisdom that will lead her to pleasure, power, and reaching her best potential.

Nourished by Nava

This won’t be another failed fad diet.

Because if there is one thing that's been clinically proven, it's that our bodies were not designed to diet.

Forget the myths you heard from your grandmas diet books, your kids instagram and the lady on the bus.

Uncover the truth about which foods are best for your body, based on nutritional science, and the foods that were eaten for thousands of years before diet culture and industrial food got in the way.

Through hands-on workshops and one-on-one work in the clinic, I teach my clients how they can bring the most nourishing food into their home, that keeps them and their kids fuller for longer.

You shouldn’t have to think about food all the time, I help you relearn the basics so you can live your best life.

Here’s what you should know about me

I’m a science geek.

I love helping my clients understand the science of how their appetite works, because the first step to befriending your body, is understanding it.

I wish I was a tribal woman.

I am super curious about how women used to nourish themselves and their families in the days before food was machine made.

I’m an endless listener.

I know how complex a woman's relationship with food can be. Tell me about it.

I have trust in my body, and I have trust in yours.

I believe that your body intrinsically knows what food it needs, I’m here to show you how to listen.

KIND WORDS FROM COURAGEOUS CLIENTS

"Nava guided me in my process of healing my relationship with food and body. She helped me with my emotional struggles around food, and gave me practical tools that helped me cope. She was a safe space for me to share my struggles along my journey."

- L.B., Chadera

Hi, I’m Nava.

I live on my family farm with 1 yemenite husband, 2 mocha little girls, 3 goats, 4 chickens, 5 jars of pickled lemons, 6 kilos of fresh pressed olive oil,  and all 7 species of Israel in my garden.

One thing I can promise is that I will never tell you to count calories or restrict carbs. Been there, done that, and trust me, it’s not worth it…

I spent my childhood juggling diets and worshiping the scale. After years of disappointment and failure, I decided to get my life back.

My healing journey consisted of studying food psychology, sourdough baking, olive oil making, and endless hours of watching yemenite bubbies mixing stews and kneading dough to nourish their grandchildren.

But my real healing sprouted from the relationship between me and my nutritionist. She saw my struggle. Believed in my success. And showed me the step-by-step to respect and nourish my body. I was put on this planet to do the same for you.
